Bits of Being

thoughts on life, faith, family….and, yes, just learning to "be"

Thursday’s Thankfulness

= 1709

~The long days of summer that are slowly shortening, each one being cropped a smidgen more and blurred around the edges

~The slow days of summer with their fluidity morphing into something much more firm and structured and productive

~The bright bold days of summer wrapping themselves in cloudiness and comfort and coziness and contentment

~The sweltering days of summer dropping into chilly mornings, invigorating walks at noon, and frosty nights

~The salads and watermelons and corn-on-the-cob turning tables with the soups and apple pies and roasted pumpkins

~The varied shades of green dulling and mixing themselves into a palette of warmer hues

What are you thankful for today?
