Psalm 51:7+(MSG)

Soak me in your laundry and I’ll come out clean,

Scrub me and I’ll have a snow-white life.

(Turn my thoughts into your third-way of thinking.

Turn my actions into reflections of your love.)

Tune me in to foot-tapping song,

Set these once-broken bones to dancing.

(You’ve invited me into your circle.

I’ll join the dance.)

Don’t look too close for blemishes,

Give me a clean bill of health.

God, make a fresh start in me.

Don’t throw me out with the trash,

Or fail to breathe holiness in me.

Put a fresh wind in my sails!

I’ll let loose with your praise.

(Teach me grace.

Teach me forgiveness.

May your wind keep moving me.)
