“At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.” (Ranier Maria Rilke)
Live the question.
In the present. Right here and now.
Let the questions come. Let the questions bubble up in my thoughts.
Don’t be afraid of dichotomy. Don’t fear learning from conflict.
Embrace the struggle. Grapple with the difficult.
Questions between right and wrong.
Questions between this group and that group.
Questions that can divide, or miraculously, pull together.
You don’t have to have all the answers. It’s okay.
You can listen and not be threatened. You can embrace the other.
You can hear and not be offended. It’s freeing.
Let it go.
This need to be right. This need to have it all figured out.
This need to be in control. This need to divide.
Let it go.
One distant day you may experience the answer.
It will come, but it’s not the goal. It’s not the focus.
Let the stress morph into contentment. Be satisfied with the question.
Answers come. Answers go.
Experiences shape. Experiences challenge.
Life may bring answers, but maybe not. It doesn’t matter.
Discuss. Explore.
Live. Experience.
Fall into God’s loving arms. Learn trust.
Trust in the question. It’s scarier than trusting in the answer.
But it’s more real. It’s honest.
Don’t be afraid. Don’t fear.
Be brave. It’s okay.
Live the question.
